Here’s a look at the community events held from August 1 through August 7.
Last week, five community events took place, making for a fulfilling week filled with diverse interactions.
We will continue to strive to create spaces that foster further community development and new connections.
August 3(Mon) : Women Leaders TIB Lounge
Guest Entrepreneur (Lead Sister): Aiko Kizu, Representative Director, QRing Inc.
Ms. Kizu shared her experiences, including how her participation in the TIB SHOP led to the decision to conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with two companies. Hearing about specific results and processes seemed to heighten the participants’ interest in TIB PITCH and boost their motivation to take on new challenges. Additionally, some repeat participants reported that they had achieved the goals they had set during their previous participation. We are seeing more and more women using this event as a springboard to launch new ventures or gain insights for business growth that lead to their next steps.

August 4 (Tue) : Lunch Time Meetup
Many attendees were visiting our facility for the first time after discovering us through our website, and we welcomed participants from a wide range of industries. The group included a well-balanced mix of people—from those who had just started their own businesses four days prior and were seeking advice from various sources, to those eager to take on new challenges, as well as consultants and support professionals. The event also served as a forum for student interviews during the summer camp, where students asked entrepreneurs questions such as “Why did you start your business?”—a session made possible by the cooperation of all participants. Even after the event concluded, participants continued networking for about two hours, fostering a deeper mutual understanding.

August 4(Thu) : TIB Global Coffee Meetup
Today’s “Global Coffee Meetup” was once again bustling with many participants. The number of attendees continued to grow as the event progressed, and many people continued mingling even after the scheduled end time. Some participants joined as part of a group, while others discovered the event through Peatix.
It was clear that this event serves as a space where people from diverse backgrounds can gather regularly and interact comfortably.

August 7(Fri) : TIB Growth Coffee Meetup
Guest: Yuki Mizuno, Value-up Professional, GLOBIS CAPITAL PARTNERS Co., Ltd.
Many participants are aspiring to start their own businesses in the future, and there were numerous proactive questions.
Ms. Mizuno spoke about the importance of consistently communicating a company’s vision and identifying its strengths from a third-party perspective, and participants asked specific questions about organizational development and hiring. This provided participants with an opportunity to apply these concepts to their own businesses as they prepare to launch their ventures.

August 4(Thu) :Scramble Meetup
Guest: Shoichi Sugiyama, Representative Director, SKIP Inc.
This month, under the title “Maximizing Results with Minimal Staff: AI Implementation Strategies and Real-World Examples Across the Entire Back Office,” we welcomed Mr. Sugiyama, Representative Director of Skip Co., Ltd., as our guest. He gave a presentation on specific AI implementation strategies to address pain points in back-office operations and discuss the future direction of these functions. Many participants who actually work in back-office roles attended, and the meetup was a fruitful event with a lively exchange of questions.
