This week, participants from a wide range of fields and backgrounds came together, creating opportunities for deeper dialogue and exchange based on their own experiences and challenges.
Practical insights on business and careers were shared, providing participants with opportunities to learn from one another and gain new perspectives.

September 1 (Tue) : Lunch Time Meetup
This time, we welcomed many first-time participants from a wide range of fields, including AI, biotechnology, sales, design, and IT.
With such a diverse group of participants, the Meetup focused mainly on group discussions. Participants suggested topics such as approaching new customers, funding, decision-making, and professional principles, and openly shared their thoughts based on their own experiences.
During the networking session in the latter half of the event, participants continued to build on the topics raised during the discussions, creating a meaningful opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives across different industries and backgrounds.

September 3 (Thu) : TIB Global Coffee Meetup
This week’s TIB Global Coffee Meetup was held at a different venue and time than usual.
Almost all of the attendees were first-time participants, many of whom were actively involved in startups, bringing a slightly different mix of participants to the Meetup.
The smaller group allowed participants to engage in more in-depth conversations, and many actively exchanged contact information. The Meetup provided a valuable opportunity for new encounters to develop into meaningful professional connections.

September 3 (Thu) : Women Leaders TIB Lounge
Guest Entrepreneur (Lead Sister): Shiori Nishi, Representative Director, SUTELURA INC.
This session brought together participants from a variety of backgrounds, including female venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and those seeking to expand their sales channels. Their business fields were equally diverse, ranging from wellness and tourism to corporate research and apparel.
Ms. Nishi shared her own experiences with fundraising and business pivots. A participating venture capitalist also provided specific insights into investment criteria for seed-stage companies, giving participants an opportunity to learn from both entrepreneurial and investor perspectives on business growth.
Participants commented that the session was “extremely valuable,” making it an opportunity to share experiences and insights while gaining practical knowledge and building new connections.
