Here’s a look at the community events held from September 12 through September 18.
This week, entrepreneurs, professionals, local government representatives, and participants from a variety of backgrounds came together to exchange information and ideas based on their respective interests and challenges.
Conversations and connections made at the events led to further opportunities, including participation in TIB programs, engagement with local government initiatives, and potential collaboration among participants.

September 15 (Tue) : Lunch Time Meetup

This time, we welcomed participants from a wide range of fields, including venture capitalists, accountants, engineers, and an entrepreneur working to expand a mobile planetarium business.

Among the first-time participants were those who had learned about the Lunch Time Meetup during a visit to TIB the previous day, as well as those who joined after consulting with a Community Manager earlier that morning. These various touchpoints at TIB led to new participation in the Meetup.

During the event, participants shared information about their respective business stages and challenges. Based on their individual needs, we introduced relevant TIB programs, including TIB STUDIO for those considering fundraising and TIB SANDBOX for those interested in taking on the challenge of pitching.

In addition to networking with one another, the Meetup provided participants with an opportunity to discover the next step suited to their businesses and ambitions.

This time, representatives from Ishikawa Prefecture, Shibuya City, and Kobe City joined us to introduce their respective startup support initiatives and programs.

Participants showed strong interest in the distinctive initiatives offered by each local government. One participant even decided during the event to attend a Meetup organized in Shibuya after learning about it through conversations at the event.

The Meetup provided an opportunity not only to learn about the initiatives of each local government, but also to connect participants with specific programs and their next actions. Active exchanges also took place between the local government representatives and participants throughout the event.
