Here’s a look at the community events held from September 19 through September 25.
Despite the holiday period, people with a wide range of interests and purposes gathered at TIB from both Japan and overseas.
Through face-to-face interactions at the events and the facility tour, participants not only made new connections but also gained a deeper understanding of TIB’s facilities and initiatives, discovering new ways to make use of them in their own activities.

September 21 (Mon) : Lunch Time Meetup

Participants came from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including a person seeking new inspiration and connections after achieving financial independence through investing, as well as a caregiver, a SaaS developer, and a doctor.
When asked what brought them to the event, some participants said they joined the in-person Meetup because they found it difficult to create opportunities for meaningful connections through the TIB app alone. Others attended for the first time after being introduced by returning participants.
In addition to online connections, meeting and talking face-to-face provided an opportunity for participants to build new relationships and become more engaged with the TIB community.

September 23 (Wed) : TIB Facility Tour & Networking

This time, we held a “Facility Tour & Networking” session, welcoming 12 participants ranging from regular TIB users to first-time visitors.
The session began with Community Managers introducing the background and purpose behind the establishment of TIB. Participants then toured the facility while learning about the features of each floor and the various support programs available. We also introduced how to use TIB FAB, which supports prototyping and manufacturing activities.
Beyond simply touring the facility, the session provided participants with a deeper understanding of why TIB was established and the opportunities and resources it offers, helping them discover new ways to make use of TIB in the future.

September 24 (Thu) : TIB Global Coffee Meetup

This time, entrepreneurs and other participants from a variety of countries and regions, including India, Germany, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Canada, joined the Meetup.
The event began with a relatively small group, but more participants joined as the session progressed, and lively conversations continued even beyond the scheduled end time.
A game industry professional visiting Japan for Tokyo Game Show exchanged information about the Japanese market, while a participant working on a kimono remake business discussed opportunities in overseas markets. Participants drew on their respective knowledge, experiences, and networks to exchange useful insights.
The Meetup provided a valuable networking opportunity for participants to learn about different markets and businesses across national borders and industries.
