Throughout the Meetup, entrepreneurs shared their own experiences and insights, leading to active discussions from a variety of perspectives. Several international participants also joined, creating a global environment where conversations took place in both Japanese and English.

Topics ranged widely, from how to make use of TIB to languages, matching apps, and events. During the networking session in the latter half of the Meetup, participants continued to build on topics raised earlier, and conversations carried on even after the event had officially ended.

September 9 (Wed) : TIB Facility Tour

This session welcomed a diverse group of participants, including entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, local government representatives, and members of large corporations.

Several participants were particularly interested in manufacturing and expressed strong interest in the facilities and initiatives available at TIB FAB.

One participant discovered TIB through Startup Hub Tokyo Marunouchi and was looking for opportunities to receive feedback on a business idea that was still in its early stages. We introduced opportunities to consult with a Community Manager as well as TIB SANDBOX. Beyond simply learning about the facility, the tour provided participants with an opportunity to discover TIB facilities and programs that could support their individual interests and stages of business development.

September 10 (Thu) : TIB Global Coffee Meetup

This session brought together participants from diverse backgrounds, including those looking to meet new business partners and expand their professional networks.

Their fields of activity were equally diverse, ranging from Japanese-Western fusion fashion incorporating upcycled materials to marketing and organizations working to prevent harassment. A group of interns from India also joined the Meetup and shared information about TIB’s initiatives and available resources with other participants.

Active discussions took place throughout the event, and many participants stayed afterward to continue their conversations. The Meetup provided an open and welcoming environment where participants could communicate casually in English and expand their networks across different fields and nationalities.
