Open Innovation
In order to achieve significant improvements in solving social issues, it is effective for startups to collaborate with major corporations that possess high technological capabilities and domestic and international distribution networks in the “Open Innovation” initiative.
Therefore, to promote the adoption of such open innovation initiatives among a wide range of major corporations, we have been implementing the “TIB Open Innovation Adoption and Acceleration Program” since 2024, targeting individuals involved in launching new business ventures in major corporations in cooperation with several support providers.
We introduced the participating companies at the kick-off event held at TIB on September 29, 2026. Going forward, they will develop joint project proposals and drive open innovation in collaboration with startups.
Program Outline
In line with the themes of each course, we will conduct workshops at TIB, provide support for developing collaborative projects, facilitate business matchmaking, and other activities to promote open innovation among major corporations that are eager to begin collaboration with startups.
