About
Open Innovation
In order to achieve significant improvements in solving social issues, it is effective for startups to collaborate with major corporations that possess high technological capabilities and domestic and international distribution networks in the “Open Innovation” initiative.
Therefore, to promote the adoption of such open innovation initiatives among a wide range of major corporations, we have been implementing the “Open Innovation Adoption and Promotion Program” since 2024, targeting individuals involved in launching new business ventures in major corporations in cooperation with several support providers.
Details of each program and the application period are as follows, and we eagerly look forward to your participation!
Program Outline
In line with the themes of each course, we will conduct workshops at TIB, provide support for developing collaborative projects, facilitate business matchmaking, and other activities to promote open innovation among major corporations that are eager to begin collaboration with startups.

Online Information Session for Prospective Applicants
For companies considering applying to the program, we will be holding an online information session to explain the importance of open innovation between major corporations and startups, as well as the details of this program. Please register via the link below.

Points of Attention
- Eligible Companies: Major corporations and similar organizations that are eager to begin collaboration with startups and require support from the program. (approximately 5 companies will be accepted for each course.)
- Application Period: Friday, July 17, 2026, through Monday, September 14, 2026, until 5PM
- Please apply to each program provider through your affiliated company. (Application may close early due to limited availability.)
- Each program requires a designated participation fee.
- We will be holding the online information session for companies considering applying.
