We are seeking TIB partners to develop events and support programs at TIB.
Tokyo Innovation Base (“TIB”) is seeking “TIB Partners” capable of planning and organizing events and programs to support startups, etc., in cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
(Target: companies, organizations, universities, etc.)
1.Purpose of recuitement.
Based on the “Global Innovation with STARTUPS” startup strategy, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is implementing measures to realize the “10x10x10 Innovation Vision for the Future,” which aims to increase the number of unicorns by 10 times, the number of startups by 10 times, and the number of collaborative projects between the government and startups by 10 times. TIB is developing measures to achieve this vision. TIB will develop events and support programs to connect startups with various players, such as accomplished entrepreneurs, business networks and supporting organizations who can encourage them to undertake new challenges. TIB is currently recruiting companies and organizations who are responsible for these activities as “TIB Partners”.
2.What is a TIB partner?
TIB partners are a diverse group of companies, organizations, universities, and other stakeholders who are responsible for planning and managing events, programs, and other activities targeting startups, their support organizations, aspiring entrepreneurs, and students, utilizing TIB’s own know-how, networks, and other resources in accordance with TIB’s philosophy. The purpose of this activity is to contribute to the construction of a platform where startups and their supporters can come together.
3.Role of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in the TIB Partner Program.
(1)Securing event space at TIB.
(2)Managing TIB’s fixtures, video and audio equipment, power supply, Wi-Fi environment, etc.
(3)Providing operational support for the implementation of the TIB Partner Program, including explanation and advice on the use of items (1) and (2) above, guidance on TIB facilities, and assistance to facility users, among others.

Preparation for activities begins.
We ask you to submit a proposal before STEP 2. In the proposal, please include: ‘Reasons for applying,’ ‘Achievements in startup support,’ ‘Implementation plan,’ ‘Proposal of events/programs,’ and ‘Approximate schedule of implementation.’ Depending on the content of the proposal, we may hold a meeting to exchange opinions.
*Period of activity: From the date of the “TIB Partner Agreement” to March 31, 2026 (with a renewal system).
